INTRODUCTION

Let me start off by introducing myself and my reason for writing this blog.

My name is Craig Syracuse. I am newly enlisted in the army of future fathers. I am 28 years old, and have been married to my beautiful wife and love of my life since June of 2010. We have been together for going on 8 years now. We have already added our energetic spaz of a pup, Zuri who is a lab /husky mix who is now 1 year old.

Both my wife and I work a full time job 40 + hours a week and we each hold a 2nd part time job in the restaurant business. I currently bartend at a small Irish bar called Murray McCanns and she serves at Ruby Tuesdays. I also own a 2 unit rental property in the city of Buffalo that i manage as well.

The reason that i decided to write this blog was originally to document the progression of Rebeccas pregnancy as we do not get to see all of our family as much as we would like to and the fact that they are also spread across the country. But as I continued to look for advice and information on what I as a first time Father should look to expect, the information seemed to be conflicting. So that being said.....

I will use this opportunity to document my experiences, emotions, doctor visits, my wifes emotions, where to get the best deals, and the rollercoaster ride that is becoming a father.
